Why do we care about other cultures?
We care to learn about different cultures because learning about other cultures can be interesting because they can have different cultures, clothing, the money and different languages.
What challenges did people from other countries face when they first arrived in Alberta?
They had to get farmland, get food, learn to speak the language and get used to the climate.
What would have been different here that would have been difficult to get used to?
They had to get used to the climate, the food the cloth

How does having many different cultures living in Alberta make this province a better place?
Different cultures are better at different things and we can learn from each other.
How were First Nations people affected?
The First Nations people were affected because then the Europeans took away their food (buffalo), and they took away their culture because the Europeans took their buffalo couldn’t have their food that they ate (buffalo) so they wouldn’t have homes (tipi’s), and they took over their land, so the First Nations signed the Treaty 7 to get back their land and because their food was disappearing.
